Keep Moving Forward

Greetings!
Fellow tech enthusiasts and curious minds, It's been a rollercoaster of change here at JustANerds.Site, and I'm excited to share the journey with you. Recently, I faced an unexpected twist that led to the loss of my GhostCMS site hosted on a Digital Ocean droplet. But as they say, every cloud has a silver lining, and in this case, it led me to reconfigure the website on an AWS EC2 instance with a new perspective – embracing the lightweight and versatile WonderCMS.

Why WonderCMS? A Digital Evolution:

Losing access to my GhostCMS site and witnessing the unexpected destruction of the droplet on DigitalOcean was a setback, to say the least. However, I am to blame for not backing up my files. So, I chose to view it as an opportunity for a fresh start. Enter WonderCMS – a flat file CMS that aligns seamlessly with the vision I have for JustANerds.Site. The simplicity and efficiency of WonderCMS have allowed me to quickly rebuild and create a space that is not just a reflection of my thoughts and learnings but a dynamic platform for all things tech, UNIX-based administration, and more. Utilizing the same MIT license, WonderCMS is complete freedom. While GhostCMS was a beautifully created piece of software, it lacked the suckless look, feel, and maneuverability I enjoy. In essence, GhostCMS is not suckless. It is bloated with JS, and requires the use of many pieces to work properly (WebKit!).  WonderCMS is an excellent way to create a suckless, portable, minimal site. I will cover this in a later post.

Continuing the Tech Odyssey: FreeBSD, Scripting, and UNIX-based Administration:
